Thinking about it, 206 is ISO as standard, they would of supplied him with a PC2-36-4, which is simply an ISO extension, and not necessary unless on most Rover 400's. But then you have the hassle of where to put the wires.

I just phoned the mate that i fitted it for, he said he bought it from Uplands and they gave him a lead for his 206.

ALL the blaupunkts ive ever fitted have had a set of ISO blocks inside, but with bare wires on the end.

If its a new headunit surely its not going to be an old sony :P and the new blaupunkts have a harness :P

depending on the unit though, as long as the head unit you're putting in has its own loom, then yes, what Austin said is true, BUT (:P) if its a unit where the ISO's go straight into the unit(no additional loom, like old sony's/blaupunkts.....) then you'll need either a PC2-04-4 or to cut the OE wiring loom and swap permanent/switch live(not recommended)

Or if you would rather save yourself the money, just change the red and yellow bullet connectors in your new headunits harness ;)

I'm fitting a new head unit in my Corsa B. Can I get an adaptor to fit the original wiring socket ?, if so could I get one from Hellfrauds, or do I have to go to vauxhaul?. Ta. :o |
