I got nice fresh refurb'd PVD calipers, nice shiney Zinc plated. See how long they stay shiney for and then back to yellow like me olduns or gold. Hamerite is fine, they do hammer finish too if your surface isnt that smooth :thumbs: | |

how often do u find v6 calipers in a scrappy. i was surprised 2 c the calibra i saw - got rear discs as well | |

well i can get em shot blasted for free so it aint gonna be that expensive. just dont wanna drive round with no brakes, was thinkin of gettin some calibra 16v calipers from scrappy near me n shot blastin them n then paintin em gold | |

i didnt but it all depends on wot kind of finish u want. the proper way would be shot blast and powder coat | |

erm, most diy sotres, plus halfords etc... it comes in small tins and you dont need anywhere near a full tin. that brake caliper laquer is a rip off, i would say 99% of people use hammerite. | |

Does anyone know of a quick drying brake caliper laquer - which looks v. good when its dried, as ive bought some Savage brake caliper laquer/paint and it says it takes 48 hours to dry - without the wheels on |
