Will do Red_Sxi when i'm looking at buying, you vaguely mentioned it when I picked up the rear clusters from you...

Give me a shout when u wanna buy any of this stuff Norm.

I'd go with eibach springs and shocks, i think they're a quality mate.

Did i mention to you about Horizon Autotek? U2U me for more info

Which i do want, so what do i buy to lower it 40mm? any ideas/suggestions?:boggle:

Will i still be able to carry passengers in the back? Will speed humps be a problem?

So, if i get 16's lowered 40mm, what size wheels do i need with what offset, width etc:boggle:

cheers for the replies guys:thumbs::)

For the best handling 16's lowered -40mm will be the best setup, as any lower the car will be too stiff and be worse cornering than what you started with

i have a full kit of springs and shocks -30mm with 17's, handling is improved a lot but 17's do kill your car... stick with 15's or 16's if you want better handling.

i've just lowered on eibach -30mil on std 15's. handles and looks much better :)

if you want the best handling, i would go for a full kit with shocks and springs or coilovers.

Which are the best to get for HANDLING, 16's or 17's?

My standard alloys are too small :lol:, but i'm more bothered about driving the car than how it looks. I do want it to look good, but not by sacrificing too much in the way of handling! Plus, it's only a 1.2 16v, so will it struggle with 17's anyway?

And how much should it lower it by? How should I lower it? (spring + damper kit, coilovers, airbags, hydraulics etc.....):boggle:

My bodywork is all standard, here's a pic of my car:

Anybody got any idea what my insurance company will say? I'm with directline.

I'm new to all of this, but it's gotta be done as my car was an absolute embarrassment at borocruise yesterday!:lol:

Cheers guys :thumbs:

Norm.
