throttle valve control motor - you mean idle control valve or the throttle position sensor?

it will be the throttle valve control motor thats gone wrong it allways is. thats the black thing on the left of the throttle body that should opwn the throttle vale on tick over.

Need to sell my car desperately but the engine warning lights on n i dunno what wrong with it revs are all over the show!! could it b to do with the fact iv taken the cat off? its a shitty 1.0 litre!!
