welshdude, how much did it cost you to get the car c/c, wot i want done is the arches and the bump strip on the doors and a little plastic bit that runs along the top of the front and back bumper

The body shop that sprayed my arches left them on the car, a very good job considering although on some of the edges you can see the "bubble" effect if you look closely enough.

cheers guys, the onl question i got no then is, if i do bond the arches on can i still get them colour coded afterwards? it may sound silly but, when i come to get the car colour coded does the bodyshop need 2 thake the arches off 2 spray them or will they leave them on the car? the reason i ask is because i dont wanna bond the arches on then find out i gotta take them off 2 get the c/c

Good point Kerzo......u might even find u have to do this lowered 40mm with ICE in the back, but i've found in the past, some 42mm 17"s have gone on better than some 49mm 17"s.......just gotta test em and see.

if you wanna go any lower it may be beneficial to remove the bolts for the arches and bond them back on which will give a bit more clearance space

u shud be alrite there mate, if anything the rear arches will rub once lowered, but simply trim these back with a stanley knife. Take 10mins a side max.

right ive just ordered my new wheels from wheelbase. ive gone for kosei racers, with 205/40/17 toyo proxy tyres. they are et48's so should the fit be ok? also i havent lowered it, but im going to be droppin the car 40mm with springs, will this rub, i dont think it will because of the et48 offset. |
