what about setting up the neon instead of the boot light so when you open the boot the neon comes on. how would i do this?

or do wot i did, and connect the - to the ground on ya amp and the + to the power on your amp, so when u turn on ya amp bingo the light will come on

Basically get a negative switching relay, connect the switch wire to the brown/white wire for the boot light (easy to find), then take the power input for the relay from the amplifiers live feed, and ground the relay. Then connect the positive of the neon to the output of the relay. This way the neon will come on when you open the boot :)

Alternatively you could get a positive switching relay and take the switch wire from the remote lead for the amp, this way the neon will come on with your amps. I dont reccomend this as it will send bulb life right down :)

Basically if you have a sub in ur boot already then your job will be easy. If not, it involves running new wires through the car.
