also i allowed myself 3 days to do it in. A good day with wet n dry to get a smooth surface, then spraying the primer on. Second day started painting, and third day lacqured it all.

Use cobra 148's painting guide, very usefull!

it's not hard at all ive had everything off 3 or 4 times now and to get all the parts off i mentioned now would only take 30-45 minutes!

I'd say metalic silver or get the same colour paint of your car from vauxhall!!!

Ive got a mettalic grey corsa b

so was thinking of spraying it silver/or the same mettalic grey colour

i got that haynes corsa manual the other week - so when i get round to it.... fingers crossed.

actually it was tetrosyl, plastic primer, metalic silver paint, and clear lacquer

ive done heater vents left n right, dash surround door handles and tweeter holders and mfd cover.

wasn't hard get the max power haynes, tells you how to take stuff out.

I used colour plan stuff from local car shop, did it in metalic silver, finished off with chrome vectra door handles, and white lockwood dials, and chrome surround from cobra!

the best way to tackle this is to take as much time as possible as the bits u are removing are easily broken

luks extremly nice thats how i want mine to be done silver to go with the flame red exterior. jus the fact that if i take it off and put it on agen there is a chance of it rattling and that'll b annoyin

tis pretty easy to do only pain is removing everthing to spray espesh the center bit with heater controls and also hard to spray into any enclosed places suck as door pockets etc whichout it splashing back out, i used star silver interia paint from halfords, if i remember rightly you get, primer, paint, and sealer, nt cheap but does a gd job, i dnt think silver would look out of place in a red car, lots of manufacturers these days producing cars are starting to add touches of silver to the interia looks miles better IMO
