I know it probably wont make much difference, i like the noise that u get from a de-cat (raspy). Never seen a s/s manifold for the 1.2 16v before, thought at least someone would make one. Lexmaul make one for the 1.2 8v but not the 16v . Anyone ever seen one??

i doubt it'd make much difference on small motors. actually just finished having a read on the topic n the test car used pushed 272 rear wheel kW before n 278 rear wheel kW after. about a 2% gain at those power levels while making the car illegal at the same time. hardly worth it tbh.

Was wondering if you can de-cat an SXi (b) coz ive heard the cat on this engine (x12xe) is in the engine bay just after the exhaust manifold??? Can you buy a de-cat pipe or could you make one? Cheers for any help  |
