It wont have failed cos of no cat, my emissions where fine, think your right in saying clean the lambda sensor...

Also give it a hard thrashing and have it arrive at the MOT centre hot, and have a while you wait MOT.

That way hopefully when they test it, it will be warm and have better emmisions.

i did. It failed on emmisions.

Maybe a wee clean of the lambda sensor may help.

My car passed mot with no cat last month, dont see why yours wouldnt.. just put it through.. it will be fine my friend...
