Ever been in a 1.6 16v on throttle bodies???

I've been in both Andys 214bhp 1.6 16v, and Luckys 250bhp 2.1 16v, and although luckys was faster, Andys was much more fun :P

Fit a good exhaust manifold before you get the TBs set up and mapped. You'll also benefit from fitting vernier pulleys so you can swing the cams for best power output, especially if you opt for non-standard cams in the future.

Its not really worth doing it in stages.

The 2 main parts are the throttle bodies side of it and the management side. You need the management to run the tb's, and its not really worth paying to get the management set up on a standard engine as you will have to pay again when the tb's are fitted.

Will be getting throttle bodies for my X16XE engine soon

What should i do to the engine before purchasing to make sure I to get the best from the throttle bodies?

Getting ARP rod bolts and a lightened and balanced fly wheel and what else?

Also can i buy a throttle body kit in stages?
