yeah i had my hand on it and it didnt get warm. Is it only a blockage that could cause this? Ill go and try that thing again that you said to do and see if it helps!

still no luck. Should i try that again, or would it have fixed it? When i turned the car off, quite a bit of water came out of the expansion tank, is this right, or should i have put the top back on before that?!

cheers mate ill go try it! I took all teh ducting etc out to have a closer look, the cable that controls the air coming in or circulating around wasnt connected to the slider properly either. Ill go do this too!

assumin u aint got air con

it'll be an air lock more than likely

put the heater on max heat setting (fan turned off)

take the top of the expansion bottle and run the engine on idle till the fan kicks in or the water boils over

when this happens turn the engine off and then top up the expansion bottle

put the cap back on and that should be u sorted

The heater in my car isnt working and i think i should get it fixed now as winter is coming up! The fan works, so after looking at the haynes manual, i asume its something with the heater matrix. If not, what else could it be? And what tools will i need to fix it? Any help appreciated, Matt!
