My pedal feel is stodgy already, even with standard discs. I have fitted braided hoses and dot 4 fluid but to no avail, any ideas way causes this??
I want a v6 setup and as its bad already i wonder if it cud get anyworse LOL

I'm using Wilwood midilite 4-pots and 285mm discs. Terrific stopping power and good pedal feel for around£420. Wilwood can supply the callipers with different piston sizes to best match your master cylinder.

i have 284mm v6, braided hoses and rear discs and my pedal feel is really shite been told to change them back to the astra 256mm then add the conversion kit from hi-spec to make them 288mm using the astra caliper

Adam. How big is the gap between the outside edge of the calipers and the inside of your wheels and what offset are they?

I'll have to have a word with joff then ;) the site says you need 16" rims min for 300mm.

325mm:D;)

I've had no probs with the hi-spec kit.
Make sure you use braided hoses tho, it will make a difference.

they are billet alu
so are lighter would prob need less force to make em work?

Try V6 calipers, and 284mm discs from V-tuning - just make sure you fir some braided hoses as this will stop a lot of the poor pedal feel.

Yeah thats what i want but pedal would feel shit because i wouldnt be able to get enough pressure to them.

After fitting a C20XE engine in my corsa although my front brakes are 2.0L 16V spec i feel the need for bigger more powerful brakes. I would like rear discs and 288mm front discs with 4 pot calipers. I will also need to upgrade the master cylinder and servo to provide enough fluid pressure for the 4 pots. What car can i get a bigger master cylinder off and how easy would it be to change it all over? :boggle:
