i got a kenwood 4x30w headunit. would that be enough to run the components or would they need to be powered by the amp along with the 6x9s ?

Well the basic rule for powering speakers from an amp is to match the power of the speakers with the amp, or to exceed that power and then turn the gain down on the amp.

And you wont want to be blowing £600 on an amp, for £600 you could get a good amp that you need for the above, and then a sub and amp on top.
