Halfords sell carpet, motorworld do too. I got mine for £12 from a local motor factors - look in shops who sell sub enclosures - they normally sell it. I'd shop around for the perfect price and colour.

not just accoustic cloth, accoustically transparent cloth...i dare say floor capet is designed to deaded sound as u dont wanna be hearing whats above or below (providing its in a house) too well.
fittin them on a stealth shelf is kinda strange.

it prob will distort as acoustic carpet allows the air moved by the speaker to pass through it, where as floor carpet i wouldnt think does.

As AustinPXX says u r nuts!!!!

I am making a stealth shelf (as it is cheeper) to hide my new 6*9s but wot material do i use to cover the mdf so that the speakers can not been seen, i want it too look the same as the original but without disstorting the sound too much. any links would be appeciated.

cheers
