body shop will charge around £200 to weld a plate in and fill/smooth to the contours of the boot + Spray, i think thats a good price, gonna get mine done soon, the only hassle is relocating the number plate and light!!

ive got 1 of these

unless the bodyshop that is fitting it is crap, u will not notice any difference in the boot apperence (apart from being smooth)because it will be all smppthed into 1 object

6mm!? thats quite a bit, woud look shite from the side popping out like that. how much would it cost to get all the stuff off teh back like the wiper and boot lock surround and then just fill the lot and smooth?

yeah it sticks out 6mm unless ya feather it in at the edges but thats hard to do keeping it looking good, i would get a shop to weld a plate in

does everyone who has a smooth boot do this? wouldnt it be much better to just get the whole boot smoothed at a body shop? i would have thought the boot would stick out a lot with this and look funny

Totla vauxhall did a guide on how to do it 2 months ago, its dead easy, you dont remove the window just the rubber, easier if you got a GSi type wrap around spoiler cos the part that is smoothed in to the car will be hidden under this so if ya do a crap job its not so bad
