hang on when you say cant have a exaust after manufacturers to make excessive noise....do u mean if the exaust u fit to your car is louder than the standard then its ilegal??? coz loads of people fit exausts which are louder than the standard, thats the whole point!! | |

i have an exhaust that sounds like a proper bitch drive past coppers all the time never been pulled :/,the bloke down ascar says it isnt ilegal either | |

so its one of these grey areas. Some companies do say that. Magnex for a start. The say there exhausts dont comply with traffic laws in some countries. | |

Well its not though is it, else you'd have to have disclaimers and stickers on exhausts saying 'for off road use only' and the like. You'd also never pass an mot. | |

nah, they have to have a valid MOT before entering the stages. Thats the law here. Maybe ur WRC cars but i know all the cars that enter the rallys up in scotland and im sure england will be the same have to have a valid MOT before entering the scrutineering. | |

rally cars are prolly not road rego'd. Theyre allowed on the road under special circumstance with a special permit. | |
