Have u tried putting a new relay in? They only cost a few pounds anyway! it could just be the relay thats the prob but if its working ok when u select indicators then it may be somethin else totally! not much help i know but for the price of a relay i'd try it!

it clicks on and off very very fast (dont activate the lights outside the car thou - but if it was switching that fast the lights wouldnt have time to come on)

What do you mean the relay goes beserk? does it dance like a trance addict or something?

when u turn the ignition on , the relay controlling the indicators goes nuts, u get the light on the dash, but no other warning lights, car starts fine, hazards work, and indicators work if u push them up or down, but relay goes nuts if u leave it in the middle (tried disconnecting it)
no rev counter, fuel anything works, fuses are fine, earth's are fine
even if u pull the hazard switch or relay out, nothing on the dash works still
ive disconnected the alarm, just in case - and im about to try disconnecting the battery and then the ecu for a bit, worth a go!

any ideas? its driving me up the blooming wall
