40mm whould theoretically mean it had 30mm more travel than 70mm drop as its 30mm higher, wouldnt bother myself with coilovers if you only want a 40mm drop, they are more suited to a slam, or good drop with added comfort.

cheers, but wot if i was only to lower it by 40mm??? the coilovers im thinking about are adjustable between 40mm and 75mm so wouldnt that mean it woint have much travel? :boggle:

Well ive also had the spax adjustable 60mm kit using regular style dampers and springs. Ive not noticed any difference in hardness, actually the coilovers feel softer because the suspension has more travel when lowered 60mm on coilovers than regular style 60mm springs and dampers...:)

I too have the RSX spax kit. When on hard its really bumpy, especially noticable when the rear dampers are set on hard. I run mine on 1/8 hard front and rear for daily drive and twist them to full hard when I want to have fun... when on rock hard with low profile tyres the rear end skips round corners if you boot it, its a great feeling lol

i never had mine on anything other than the hardest setting so i dont really know, but tbh, i thought the car felt better to drive with a harder ride

Hey guys, im thinking about buying a set of coilovers for my corsa c. The ones im thinking about have adjustable height and damping. I've heard that the ride on coilovers is really hard, is this true??? Wots the advantages and disadvantages???? |
