it may decrease it slightly but only slightly as it is increasing the air flow into the engine so there will need to be more fuel etc

Just a quick question, I'm thinking of getting a KnN panel filter, but would changing the filter improve my mpg or reduce it??
Been reading the testimonials on the KnN website, and it seems to suggest it improves it overall. At the moment i'm only getting 30 odds mpg since changing the backbox to a scorpion one.
