2 4dvc subs will run at 4 or 8 ohm depending on how you wire them, 2 2dvc subs will run at 2 or 4 ohm depending on how u wire them, you only use dvc 4 ohm subs if you are running 1 from a class d amp.

This is how ive wired mine off of a monoblock amp using double voice coil subs, real quick sketch but it shows you how, anybody correct me if im wrong before the guy blows up his subs and amp:lol:

Run a + and - form amp just one set bridged over the monoblock then into the terminal on the box, form terminal inside box run the + to the Plus of on of the voice coils of one of the subs then to the plus on one of the voice coils on the other sub, same with the -'s and then attach remaining + and - on the two different voice coils on the same sub, il c if i can do a pic!!!!!!

wire all the terminals off each sub onto that one terminal on the mono block.
optionally wire from one sub to the other...make sure the amp can take the impendance load of the subs, Im assumin the subs are 4ohm.

mate has got 2 pioneer dual coil subs and wants to run it through a monoblock. his box only has one terminal at the one side. how does he wire the subs to the terminal? :boggle:
