Well I wasn't having nay of this, just phoned my local main dealer, waltons of stafford, £9 for the stat which they sell seperately and £26 for the housing, me thinks you being ripped off mate | |

I didn't buy it, I didn't need the housing as its already there, and not perishable (and its powder coated) so I bought the thermostat for about £7 from motor factors. | |

i got a genuine vauxhall thermostat including housing for £16.75 from vauxhall dealers.Your quote of £89 is very steep m8:! | |

The thermostat housing isn't plastic. Its metal. A water pump is about £15? | |

me thinks when the dealer was selecting the part on the screen they clicked the water pump by accident, even tho, that wud still be an expensive pump possibly | |

The main dealers sell them with the housing as well, thats why they are so dear, I got one from motor factors for £7. | |
