Changing the panel filter wouldn't do anything would it?

It hasn't been serviced for a long time...probably over 10,000 miles maybe more

maybe your air filter is clogged/fuel filter, how long since the last service, remember every 10,000 miles should be a service.

performance

yeah just smoother. absolutely no perfomance gained whatsoever. still worth it. i rather spend a bit more on petrol than have kangaroo juice all the time

There is no real pattern at all.....apart from i have noticed that it is usually feels OK then if i hoof it somewhere or race something to 6,000 revs....then it will start feeling crap for a few days. I have to drive it carefully and then it seems ok for a bit....also filling her up with petrol can make it better....it feels crap when getting low on petrol.

Sometimes it drives lovley, gear change is smooth, engine is quiet, pulls well, clutch is smooth....then it all goes crap for no reason...

Gear change is jerky, engine is loud over 2000revs (Loud vibrating engine noise), clutch feels crap, Just doesn't feel as nice to drive.... Then it goes back to normal...usually feels good for a few days then bad for a few.....

Could it be the oil? or maybe the clutch is going or maybe the gear box?....Anyone any ideas? :boggle: cheers!
