the only advantage "performance" leads have over cheaper ones are the quality of the silicone covers. Halfords own brand HT leads are built to the same spec as OE vauxhall leads. I had Halfords leads on my old corsa and an improvement was very noticable on cold winter mornings. Vauxhall leads are very good quality, but you pay through the teeth with them which i find strange. Just get some reasonable priced ones, and dont be fooled by the whole performance HT lead market. Wont offer any more performance over regular brands on a small engine like yours.

Dont buy cheapy leads. Not worth it. For the cost of the vaux ones you could get some magnacore ones.

I think my car is a bit poorly at the moment. It is a 1.4 16v sport and it has shit performance at the moment at low revs. Ive got new spark plugs but they didn't fix the problem. So ive been told to change my HT leads which i found out from vauxhall this morning are £130. |
