:( oh well, will have to experiment on my own car :o. If my planned install goes ahead, it'll secure me a job installing!

i know of a lad on here who was thinkin of doing his install out of full carbon fibre, he can get the materials very cheap for it though as his mates dads buisness is doing 1 off carbon fibre bits. should look mental if it goes ahead.

Good prices, its just finding the time for the graft! As you guys know i have spent BOMBS on my system, only you open the boot and wahla MDF city! Its minging, ruins everything. Surely some company would love to use my car as a demo car with my kit inside but the graft on the install...? :(

fibre glass matting 49p, resin £2.75, hardener 99p

get that from my local motorfactors.

Did you see the prices though? £26 for 10 square yards! 1 Litre of resin for around £5! Cheap as fook from that place i found.

I could go for carbon-fibre, but materials would cost around £500, instead of £50!

hardener is 4.99
resin 5.99
cloth is 8.99 (maystar acoustic cloth)

u can put the cloth over the build then coat it in the resin and hardener mix then leave to dry
u then have u mould cover it in acoustic cloth or p38 it and smooth and paint it
(my bf told me this stuff) lol

Sadley i cant afford to change the install as well as the "other plans"

Would love to go for a carbon/kevlar jobbie. How trick would that look.

Just managed to find this website. Can supply fibreglass matt, cloth, resins, hardener etc.etc. Basically everything you'll need to use fibreglass in building the ultimate Corsa install(If you reckon you can do better than me!!!:P)

Also available is Carbonfibre/kevlar cloths and resins etc. That would be impressive. A whole, seats out job, build done in carbon kevalr/fibre :D How Cool!
