Yeah but I sort of know a man like... He knew there was no cat but done emissions test and it passed....

I don't need to swap em over...:P;)

But not that hard I would think...Depends how fitted though..clamps welds etc..

Hmmm, but the MOT guy should have failed it for not having a CAT anyway!

By the way, how easy is it to swap the cat in and out for a decat pipe?

hmmmmm, so what is the point of cats all together then?

you WILL be releasing more dangerous gasses without a cat..... simple..

depending on the condition / age of ur car, its more likely to fail with a cat coz when they get blocked up they just makes things worse....

If your car passed a cat emmisions test without a cat then you were lucky!

I would guess most cars wouldn't.

like i said ur car will b tested as having a cat but it wont effectively so ur engine shud b in good condition if ur gonna do it.

I put mine through a cat test with no cat and mine passed...

So is it running well now?

Having a big empty box in your exhaust system isn't ideal though.....

Wont emissions be sky high tho when they test?

Just a little trick, take the cat off and smash out the insides with a metal bar and hammer shake it around to get the pieces out and reattach.

Your car should still pass the emmissions test without the cat even though it will b tested as having a cat bcoz as far as the tester is concerned its present. Ur engine shud b in fairly gud condition to do this though.
