I had apex shocks and -40mm chassis dynaminc springs. These made the car look good being low and made it handle marginly better alongside the fat tyres, however when i swapped the wheels back to the standards for a trade in at the garage it was bleedin cr@p. I had to get out and check the tyres wernt flat. :boggle:

The very first thing you want are 16" rims with 45 profile tyres. This will undoubtedly give you far more road holding and handeling than any suspention mod and thats a fact. 165/65/14 rims are fcuking awful, first thing that happends into a bend is the tyres fold under, weather your suspention is sweet or not. In fact I can set you up nicely with a set of 16" mille miglia spiders in great condition with yokohama A539's all round with loadsa tread, for a mear £400. ono. :!
