Got it sorted now! Had to spend a bit of time with the drill just making the hole a wee bit bigger.

Another thing I learned... SRi's have the most viscious sounding alarm I have ever heard! If fannying around with your locks, put your key in the ignition!

I can see the screw holes too, but when the door is lock I struggle to grip the pin - nearly pull the rubber off, so had I took the panels off to get them ti sit lower I'd struggle to manually unlock the doors from the inside, which I do a bit cos my my anit-hijack alarm thingy.

Yeah when the doors are unlocked I can see the screw holes :(

Is there an easy way to sort this out, it doesn't bother me the screws being visable, but it would be nice if they wernt there :)

Mine when on easy mate, what I did was take the old ones off, then open the doors, put the windows down and then lock the central locking, thst way its easier to push the on without the rod breaking, once you have pushed them on far enough, you will have to unlock the central locking with the key so you can get to the hole, and then tighten them with the allen key, should work like a charm.

drill the hole with the same sized drill but - had to do one of mine.

sometimes hole has wee bits of metal inside it that are left from manufacturing...
Sommet to effectively sand inside it, wee multitool drill or sommet?

Also have they got grub screws to fix them to rod, if so door panels will have to come off...

Got a pair of these for my brand new 1.4 SRi, (which is amazing btw!) Got the original pins off, but I'm finding it a bit difficult to put the Irmscher pins on the rod... It seems quite stiff (like the rod is too big for the hole :o ) and I don't wanna force it until I hear that that's what I have to do! These are supposedly compatible with Corsa C.
