Postage on an engine from Poland to England may be a bit expensive!

thanks Ditch ;) on the last drag strip i've been, i beat my friend's standard 1.4 16s by a 1.12 sec - never thought it'd be that good.

i've rolled it last time when setting up a piggyback and pulled 107-110 bhp depending on the temperature.

um going to sell the complete motor or the parts separately from my old smallblock (depends who will want what) - if u might be interested let me know by e-mail or sth.

Quite a spec you have there mate
Bet you have suprised a few standard 1.4 16v and the like

Have you had it on a rolling road?

So what happens to your old lump when you get the 2.0ltr? I would be very interested in the head, cams, exhaust manifold, and dastek if you were looking to sell it all??

(that is if i get a 1.4 mpi and im definitely buying a new car within the next two weeks)

It would be even quicker if put in a nova!

I reckon I can get my time down to 14.5 if I get a good launch, take some pressure out of my tyres and do it on a day that isn't in the 30degree's!

can't imagine that guys motor in a corsa...

my mpi got polished ports, 280 schrick cam, uprated cr to 11.5:1, moded valves, risse exhaust mainfold, cat cams timing gear and a dastek piggyback with redline@7600rpm - these are my main mods, but my gbox sucks - i get 60mph at my 2nd gear :( on 4th@7500rpm i got 120mph... i was gonna change it, but i quit it... now i'll put a twolitre... gotta move forward...

just think what times that lump could pull if it was in a corsa ;)

What have you done to your 1.4 Mpi to get a 16.5sec quarter?

Im going to look at a corsa with this lump on saturday and could do with a few tips on tuning if i get it.

Fella called Lucky B had what was probably one of/ if not THE fastest corsas in the UK, running a 2.1 bottom end, std pistons, 42mm TB's, MBE ecu, Tran-X diff, F20 with 4x4 final gear, cam profiles

0-60 in 4.97 and 1/4 mile in 13.28 @ 106.4mph

top speed of about 148mph i think
