Try disconnecting all the vac pipes apart from map sensor and brake servo.
Oh and air con if you've got it.
The secondard air pump black pipe is only required if uve got a cat, and shouls still run ok without vac to fuel pressure regulator.
Once uve ruled out too much air aint passing the map sensor id have a look at the wiring or trying another sensor off some1 else's car.....

Try disconnecting your fuel tank vent valve out of the vacuum piping,just leave it vent to air as it can allow too much air in and give false map readings.:thumbs:

the code is 34 - map sensor low voltage. Must b an airleak sumwhere but av had the mantzel off a few times and re sealed it cant seem to find the cause...

The ECU calibration can be reset by disconnecting the battery but fault codes will remain so that the problems being detected can be sorted.

what is the last fault code?

is the ECU light on constantly when your driving?

disconnecting for a full night doesnt seem to work though.....

the ECU will store the last 12 fault codes or something like that as far as i remember

u need to disconnect it for an hour to delete the backup memory

You'll have to fix the problem or the codes will keep coming back.
Vaux can delete all the codes at any time, normally charge half hours labour, best to speak to someone in the garage and slip them say £10!

Disconnecting the power to late ECU's doesn't clear the codes.

Have got an ecu warning light on and wanted to reset ecu to make sure the ecu wasnt just constantly telling me there was a prob when it has been fixed but vauxhall told me u carnt reset i just have to fix the prob and it will go away automatically.

I disconnected the ecu over night and the codes were still there the nxt day b4 i even started the engine so there must b sum truth to this...
