sorry cdcool for not being clear enuff, cheers broster!

yeah i got the coil info from a neon lighting subject, just wanted to check that i hadn't created one inmy ICE install...

n e ways it don't matter now cause i've ripped it all out.

don't suppose n e one wants to buy an Alpine type S sub in a box for a cheap price???

dint read the first one properly, and i read his second post as:

i dont wanna create a coil for that reason (ie i wanna create a coil for a different reason)

if uread his original post he says he DONT wanna creat a coil! and in his second post he also says he dont wanna create a coil.

creating a coil will increase resistance simply by making the path for the current (electrons) longer.

why do you actually want to create a coil anyway? if you create a coil, you will also create a small inductance, which you dont really want! if you want a resistance for any reason, use a resistor, they cheap enough

yeah i didn't want to create a coil for that reason ^^^

cheers n e way

lol.
U should be trying to 'avoid' resistance.
creating a coil will increase that resistance.
*^ Just to make sure u know that ^*

Basically any wiring should be laid flat out.
Straight as possible (a line).

U don't really want to loop any wires.

how do you create a coil?

just reading about fitting neons and it said sumin about a coil in the wiring increasing resistance.

BTW i dont wanna create a coil! just want to check that i haven't created one n e where in my car!
