Darryl if you were asking about electric window kits, I got a 2nd hand official vauxhall set - but not a set an in a pretty box with instructions, I mean all the bits ripped out of anyoher car. Mine cost me £135 for the motors, regulators, wiring harnesses, switches and the car main loom, and central locking solenoids and control unit, oh, and a mirror switch :)

I got mine from VPSC.co.uk who were very helpful. Other than them I'd recommend asking round all the breakers.

My retrim materila was fitted over my old material, but i got it professionally fitted. Its 'yet' to lift anywhere.

Kris is right, the doors are a much snugger fit into the rubber seal of the doors with extra material on. If you do them yourself take the original off Id say.

word of advise, remove the old material first for 2 reasons:

1. it wont stick properly and will lift over a few days.

2. you have to slam the doors to shut them.

on my rear door cards (5 dr) i covered origanal material and had the above problems, on the freont i took off the old stuff and they look miles better. ive got to redo the back ones cos they look awful.

Electric windows are quick to fit if you have the loom in your car to support them, or if your handy with elexctrics and by a thrid party brand.

search this forum for threads with me in them for more information on just how exciting electric windows can be ;)

BTW I used Cobra retrim material, 2m worth for £80, top stuff and very nice but very pricey!
