1.6 kadett astra engine is the 16SV and is either a big block or small block, it came in two forms.

The small block form will use your current engine mounts and driveshafts and the big block form would require a combination of parts in order to fit.

Personally fit a corsa a gte engine, remove all the injection system and fit the carburettor parts from the astra engine on it. Thereby remaining small block and making the wiring much easier for you.

Ok, obviously you are from Mainland Europe, so lets get couple of things straight.....

Kadett = astra? What year? what engine? 1.6 8v carburetta?
1.6 8v inj.
1.6 16v?

Corsa A SR = Nova 1.3 8v carb SR? or 1.4?

does anyone know if the 1,6l kadett enigne fits in a corsa a sr?
