ta m8, found out in another post though - both r DVC, just ones 4ohm (4212) and the other is 2ohm (4112)

smaller box will give punch, bigger box for drops.

i've been looking at a few rockford subs -

4112, 4212 (what's the diff between these two, is something to do with voice coils) and the 2112.

they say they need a sealed enclosure size of between 0.9 and 2.79 Cubic Feet (sealed)

what's the advantage of a smaller box versus a bigger box in terms of sound? cause there is a huge range there!
