How olds the car r8cr, because the newer ones dont actually have a speedo cable, their electronic,hence not having to loosen it at all.

It seems that i have an old version so there is no slack :( so that is why i have to disconnect the thingy

Yeah it was in the haynes manual that it said a wire--- uncrew it from the transmission unit--- wherever that is!

wire under the bonnet???

Corsanut or Cobra148 on here do the bulbs (LED's). Look in your Haynes manual to get the panel off with ease, or if you havent got this book then look what else you could pull off to get in there.

I wish to put in blue LED bulbs in the instrument panel behind the dials. I tried to check to see what size bulbs i need but couldn't get the panel off!

I found out that there is a wire to unscrew from under the bonnet, where the fcuk is it???
