Mine only just catch the outer arch now, and as said they are 7.5" wide 195/45/16's

Used to catch on inside too but i 'FIXED' that! LOL

how wide are the 16's and 17's??

Everyone on here says 'you will be ok as long as u have 195 wide tyres, but thats NOT always true.
If the wheels are 7" or LESS wide u will not rub, if however they are 7.5" or MORE wide (like mine) then they most defo WILL RUB unless u have proper (more than just the bolts) arch mods done as i am going to have to.
Hope this clears it up a bit!
