i wudnt want to drill holes in the bottom of my car when velcro can do the job and is soooo much easier to remove! | |

why not get some 2-3" bolts, drill a hole put some paint on the hole (stop rust) then bolt down finally put a bit or silicon on under side to stop moisture entering. | |

I was wondering the same thing. I was at first thinking of velcroing the false floor carpet to the original floor carpet but think screwing it down may be the only way to secure it properly. This would also annoy me if I needed the spare too. | |

can i screw it down directly to the floor plan? what kind of screws do you use if you can? :) |
