But that wont test the plugs in the engine if they are faulty.

what so you're saying take one of the spark plugs out of the engine ????? if you do this you will have no compression :( get a spare spark plug and check each ht lead in turn.

take out the spark plug, connect the HT lead and lean the plug on something metal so it can earth, then start the engine, you should see it sparking. :thumbs:

DO NOT HOLD THE SPARK PLUG OR HT LEAD.......U'll end up picking ureself off the other side of the road :)

think one of me cylinders aint running but how do i check the spark?
