Why not go to the scrappy and rogue one off a Cavalier.... The boot lockin solonoid motor will work the best..... All u have 2 do is wire in a pushbutton into the dash to release the boot catch ..... Job done  and still cash for the KFC for u and yer missus:D

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY IDEAS FOR THE BEST WAY TO OPEN MY BOOT WITHOUT BUYING A SOLENOID AND WITHOUT HAVING TO PULL THE BACK SEATS DOWN TO GET IN TO OPEN THE BOOT.

I HAVE A SMOOTHED BOOT AND CAN ONLY OPEN THE BOOT BY PULLIN THE BACK SEATS DOWN AND GETTIN MY HAND INTO THE BOOT INTERIOR AND CLICKING THE LOCK
