yeah I asked a pucker MOT place and it appears that it is the same as the case of indicators, if u have no door handles, and only an electronic method of opening doors, or only a hidden mechjanism it must work - but if u dont have them then u wont fail

its a case of if u have it it must work - ioif u dont its ok

I asked my mot man - who is fully legitimate the other day - and as far as he is concerned it is okay that I have my passenger handle smoothed - and as long as there is either a mechanical or electronic method of oppening the car - wetehr hidden or not - I can have the drivers smoothed off as well

as long as you have a point of entry you are fine, can smooth boot and 1 door for example, but as people say smooth all, then leave the window open. All they need do is reach in and open! :)

Good point Kenni, but how do they gain entry ??

I wont have entry from outside on passenger door, only the drivers door

i've heard u need a manual way of openin the doors, so if u have a button under the wing mirror say, u'll be fine.
