it shouldn't really affect you acceleration at all, if anything your overall drive will be quicker since you'll beable to go around corners better :)

From a rubbing point of view as long as you stick to the 49mm offset and stay below 6.5inch wheel width you'll be OK

okay as some of you i'm after a 1400cc spi corsa late mreg +,
thinkin of comp rally style wheels you know the white 5 or 6 spoke ones preferably 15" so how would this effect my gearing acceleration? acceleration slower and top speed a tiny bit higher?
no rubbing even with 4 in car?
has anyone got any idea how much some rally replica wheels would cost wiv tyres?any for bout £300 anywhere?
any pics?
