yes 7" wide 16's will I think but 6.5" wide ones wont, especially with 40 profile rubber and et45..?

Anymore examples out their to prove my theory?
By the way I OWN my spax coilovers now, they are sitting in the garage. Not fitting them until I know what rims I will be running cos the guy in the shop says he'll swap my 60mm rear springs to 40mm ones IF i keep the 17's, but I want to sell/swap them.

Ok here's the score... They guys who have 7" wide 17's need to run at et40 (thats the 'new' et with spacers on) to get clearance. So 7.5" should run at about et33-34. The wheel is half an inch wider so will need a quater of an inch more clearance on the inside...
Those who run 15's or even 16's should get no problems at all as their wheels are usually 6.5" wide and run 195 rubber instead of 205 rubber.
;)

Got 18's on mine mate withe the spax coilovers, have used 4mm spacers Alloys are 7" wide, not too much hassle take out inner arches and trim the metal under the plastic arches till it dont rub, mines dropped 70mm at front with very minimal rubbing :)

only fronts are et40. cant say ive been in his car since it was done so dunno if the fronts rub etc... your best off u2u or emailling him cos he will be able to tell u more than me.

REALLY, darn! So his wheels are now et40? That musnt be very nice for a slam? Im wanting to downsize my wheels but I dont know if I dare go for a 14" with 60mm back and 70-80mm front. Maybe just a nice subtle 16" would work for a good 60mm all-round with them being that bit slimmer and expensive 40profile rubber should work wonders too!
