It's a silicone sealant like sikafex also known as mastic dep on who u ask (older people like ur papa ) It comes in different colours according to heat rating up to 250'C for red which is good for joining exhaust sections as it resists vibration much better than paste. It has 101 uses like duck tape, it's handy stuff! It holds on my front arhes and stops my rear door cards & front speakers from rattling!

yea, mine pushes agains the window rails as well slowing down the windows halfway :(

and the door pockets won't fit on properly, the speaker cone surround is pushing the speaker grille oout :(

i'll have to sort it when i get round to puttin' in leds

Use black rtv to seal them to the door & on mating faces between the speaker & the adaptor. Can get a bit messy but it cuts out any rattling from the front speakers.

depends on the speakers, mine hit the door cards so i had to space the door bins out. now i have some tyre r's ive got too make whole new door bins cos the magnets are so damn big.

Auto leads 5in adapters, dont use the spacing ring though and 6in go straight in!
Only problem i have with my vibe's is that they push against the window rail which slows the window down half way down.
