it totally depends on the quality of the front bumper. Some of these"BACK OF MAX POWER" cowboys produce some shady looking bumpers. What ya save on a bumper u end up paying on bodyshop costs.

probably not, give it a go, if your not happy then let the bodyshop do it, put it this way, the more you do the less it will cost you, if you can get it on the car even if bits need filling u have saved money and u feel better doing it yourself. seems more your own creation if u know what u meen.

cheers matey  do ya think i'd have much trouble trying to fit a combat kit?

well the bumpers mount in the same place as the standard one, 2 screws under the bonnet and 2 under the front arch trims, back is the same, the 3 screwqs along the top and one each side under the plastic archs.
as for the skirts, i assume they stick on the sill

how do ya think a combat kit would be? also what do ya fit it with?

well it depends on the kit really. for example on my delta front bumper i had to trim it round the headlights and crash bar so i could actually get it on the car, then there was some gaps under the headlights, and round the wings so i filled them in so it fits better, i then removed the plate recess using filler.
