There should be a thin (0.75) green wire on one of the connectors to the alternator, that's the signal for the tacho.

ne 1 know why? Ive been told the tacho runs off the alternator.
Ive got a 1.5td. The only thing i can see is a green plug with two wires at the front of the alternator, is this the feed for the tacho? suggestions please guys and gals.
