Not got any examples, but look at it this way

Race Spec 1.6 16v - 240bhp odd
Race Spec 2.0litre 16v - 300bhp

Looking at the states, and that fact that teh engine is only 200cc smaller, im sure u can squeeze 200bhp from it without NOS or forced induction.

i never said you did say it!

Why are superchargers less work?

200bhp 1.4, practically race spec? I'd call that fucking mentalist absolute peak of whats possible. If ever done....

superchargers are less work than a turbo and i didnt say anything bout 200bhp kris said it about a na car and yes it is possible to get a 1.4 to 200 bhp but by then its practically race spec.

just fit a 1.6 or sumtin like that instead

or

fit a supercharger for bout half the price of a turbo.

erm supercharger, turbo gonna do the same damage, you can get 200 bhp from the 1.4 16v without a turbo.

no kits, if you want to do it, do it as a engineering project rather than for the power. Unless you have a fair sized budget.

yes it is possible, as far as i know there are no off the shelf kits. get throttle bodies, much more reliable and more power for probably less money.

Is this possible? Anywhere who sells kits that you can do yourself?
