Common sense... where do you sit in the car... the front. This is where you need to spend most time setting up your system. Fall at this hurdle and you'll never make it! Any gimp can throw a ported box in the back with two 12's and a class D amp and 'tump' the local 'hood'. For me its about more than that... | |

1. NEVER run a h.unit or amp at MAX gain setting! It will clip or 'crackle' and burn out your speakers. | |

How do speakers become 'on their way out'?? Answer is that they usually dont! Speakers are driven by electromagnetic voice coils, the coil is usally either fine OR burnt out, VERY rare is it an inbetween state! | |

2b honest the rear speakers were on their way out anyway and now they av completely died upon me! just had a new Headunit fitted 4x60watt.... | |

Before you waste anymore cash you need to work out why all youre speakers 'blew-up'. Its well rare for them to all go at once, so either they are all ok and your source has blown up or something happened to the source to make them 'blow-up' lol. | |

on me way home me feckin speakers decided they were gonna blow up grrrr:mad: so now i need 2 look at all new speakers!! |
