go to your local paint supplier and ask for an eraser wheel more commonly known as a caramel wheel goes in end of drill and removes silincone etc without ruining paint | |

tar remover won't work on silcone based products like sealant... you will have to find a product which desolves silcon and hope for the best... | |

But sealants a bit stronger and of different consistancy :( | |

autoglym tar remover ,i used this for the glue wen i took sidestrips and badges off and it is really gud stuff | |

When i fitted my side skirts a year ago, i used sealant along the top of each to prevent them rattinling and give a better finish. |
