It could be the driveshaft bearings mate.Is it doing this noise on full lock?

Mine used to give vibration feedbackl through the wheel and you could feel the car shudder as such. Needed new tyres basically, the ones I had were just getting old, tread OK but one had started to mis-shape so Im told. So getting new tyres today, just got arrange fitting.

Oh yeah sorry, can also be wheel balancing or tracking so??

If you havn't had it tracked in over 6 months, for £20 get that done. Blancing is only £2 a wheel at most.

your wheels could be hitting ssomething.my wheels started hitting my mud flaps. and if you have brand new tyres the little spike things hit the mud flaps too.

mine does that when i turn left from a standstill. you can actually hear a grinding noise. my dads looking at it today, so ill tell you how it goes. think he said it could be the steering rack or something.

when i turn right into a corner i get this odd vibration type thumping coming from the left in the engine bay i think,
also when pulling off from stand still something up front cluncks and i can feel it through the steering wheel.

it never happened when i had 15's on.

just a bit worried im gonna turn a corner and loose a wheel.:o
