Ask cobra148 above, he's got some, when you get them like that of him for example they are plug and play, simple bulb replacement. If you get the components you need to put a resistor inline with it otherwise you'll blow them, if you excuse the phrase ;)

My electrical skills are somewhat non existant.

Are LEDs the same voltage as the original little bulbs. Where do i get em

How do you know how many you can fit (assuming I fix them on)

Replace them with leds, you can have almost any colour combination you want. I've got 5 blue ones behind my panel, blue in the mfd and blue and red in the dials.

Is it possible to light up the heater control panels with something stronger (And bluer) than the titchy orange bulbs in there?

I recently replaced mine(They had blown since before i bought the car) and i was severely disapointed in the amount of lighting up they provide:wave:
