I've just bought some new Sony Xplod's 6x9 4 ways from Macro. I already have a 250 watt sub which I have never used (from my old car, but I never fitted it). Anyway I was just looking at the Boschmann PCH-2500FX 300 Watts Amplifier from Les-Smith and was wondering if this is an average entry level amp. I have some standard speakers in the front that came with my Corsa Sport 1.4i 16v and they seem pretty good although the ones in tha back are pants hence the new Xplods. I have a Sony Minidisc player head unit and I wanna hook up the Xplods to that for the rear parcel shelf and have the front hooked up as it already is. I then wanna hook up the above amp with the sub. Is this a good setup? Help me out guys, the biggest speakers I've ever had in a motor was a set of 40 watt pioneers and a 30 watt sub with a cheap £30 amp so I don't wanna make the same mistake again!! Know what I mean? |
